Canadian born artist Joe Forte has been wintering in Key West since 1986. Entranced by the islands rich magic he was captured by the spirit of Key West and its people in more than five hundred boldly executed works of art including ink drawings, watercolor images and oil paintings. His work, collected and displayed worldwide,, is prized for its unique attention to detail, emotional intensity and certainty of line. The fifty-seven pieces and accompanying text included in Joe Fort's Key West reveal the secrets and stories of an island in the throes of constant changes.
